Phillip D. Dixon Founder | vCISO | Chief CyberSecurity Strategist
With over 20+ years of public and private sector cyber, I.T., and business experience in a variety of industries including military, government, health care and finance, Mr. Dixon has been afforded the opportunity to gain exclusive knowledge relevant to progressive career growth opportunities, and the cybersecurity leadership needs in many industries. Mr. Dixon's prior military, public, and private sector experience has enabled him to adapt and efficiently execute in any environment. In addition to his experience, he also brings commitment, dedication, and a can do attitude towards accomplishing the goals of an organization.
Mr. Dixon has served as the IT cybersecurity principal responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems implemented to detect fraud, waste and abuse of services provided by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. Playing a key cybersecurity role in the implementation of the Affordable Care Act(ACA), Mr. Dixon managed the cybersecurity of over a dozen crucial IT systems with an overall operating budget in excess of $200 million. Additionally, Mr. Dixon has led or consulted on cybersecurity system project oversight, governance, risks, and compliance for several federal Offices of the Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer.
Mr. Dixon has also been a featured contributor for IEEE Potentials magazine and spotlighted in Secure Computing (SC Magazine) in connection with being the first awardee of the Holistic Executive CyberCorp doctoral scholarship at The George Washington University’s Graduate School of Education and Human Development.
Having earned his bachelors degree in Information Technology and Master of Science in Information Systems & Technology, he has also acquired multiple industry certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Security specialization, CompTIA Network + and Security+ certified professional, Akamai Cloud Security Certified Administrator, Information Security (INFOSEC) Professional NSTSSI No. 4011 and Senior Systems Manager CNSSI No. 4012 from The Committee on National Security Systems.
L.M. Reid Executive Director of Strategy & Partnerships
With more than fifteen years of corporate and public-sector experience, Ms. Reid provides integral insight and direction to THarWi’s strategic mission. Earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management, Ms. Reid has previously served in management and vendor/client relation roles with organizations such as Macy’s Corporate, Nextel Communications, and Ferguson Enterprises. Additionally, Ms. Reid is a U.S. Army veteran who has also served in public-sector roles supporting the U.S. Department of Defense, to include the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.
